I fell in love with Pho in the Bay Area of California and this place took me back... The Pho Ga, Thai Tea, and fresh Spring Rolls were amazing. I see myself frequenting Pho Viet for lunch now that I work in the area!!

The place was nice and clean. Great hospitality, the owner even came out and ask if the food was okay. Great service, would come back if we are in town.

We ordered from Pho Viet take out on Feb. 27, 2015. It is absolutely delicious! Luckily each item on the menu has a letter/number designation because attempting pronunciation of these dishes over the phone is quite difficult. The beef pho (Pho Tai Bo Vien & Chin) was light, flavorful, fresh and filling all at the same time. The steamed spring rolls (Goi Cuon) were seriously addictive, but you didn't feel like you were over eating. One day I will definitely push my limit on those! Lastly, the noodles with shrimp, beef and fried spring rolls (Bun Tom Thit Nuong Cha Gio) fit in with the rest of our order and gave us a good sampler of the entire menu. It too was wonderful. I urge you to visit this place if you're looking for a healthy, flavorful meal out while not spending a ridiculous amount of money. Our total bill was about $27. That other review is flat-out incorrect - a single portion is big enough for two people. I will definitely be back.

I love, love, love Pho. In fact, if I were to be suddenly up for execution, and offered a final meal...Pho would be IT. I was also super stoked to hear that my former place of residence would finally have a place that featured this type of cuisine. I visited Pho Viet a few weeks ago, on my way up North for a weekend. Sadly, the experience did not live up to the hype that I was hearing about this place. -the portions were TINY for what you paid. I spend way less down here in the Ann Arbor/Detroit area (at authentic little ma and pa shops) and get HEAPING portions. -the flavor was way off. I felt sickeningly sweet flavors were overpowering anything. This could also be because there wasn't any lime served to cut the flavor a bit. This also was a bit odd to me. -There was hardly any meat in my soup. Like, I had to dig around. On the plus side, there were delicious onions in the soup, which added to the overall taste and flavor. That, unfortunately, was the only redeeming quality. Sadly, I won't be back again.

C12 beef stewed meat was tasty but portion was small. Wait staff was friendly. Pho Tai broth was flavorful but portions are a tad stingy. We had to request additional basil (and a few of the leaves were brown-tipped) for the soup and jalapeños were not even offered. All in all, this place serves a good product but I think they can do better. To be fair, we were visiting and do have numerous Pho options in our hometown.

The Thai tea was amazing! I'm always rooting for the small business's and I really think they can get better, would recommend for everyone to at least try.

I love pho but had been resigned to enjoying it only on occasional trips downstate or LA until I learned that the longtime Li'l Chef restaurant in Mt. Pleasant had become a Vietnamese restaurant. So far my partner and I have enjoyed the beef pho with meatballs and the chicken pho, and I also liked the fresh rolls, although my partner thought the latter were a bit lacking in flavor and filling. The soups had generous amounts of meat and fresh basil; refreshing and warming at the same time. The servings are huge, too. The service is attentive and helpful. The restaurant interior is obviously still in transition, but is roomy and comfortable. I am looking forward to working my way down the menu; I'm also looking forward to perhaps seeing some new choices in the months to come, and perhaps some more banh mi choices to balance out the soups, noodle and rice dishes.(The menu actually doesn't even clearly identify the banh mi option as a sandwich, which I think is a mistake in a small non-foodie college town.) On a blustery winter day in central Michigan, what a comforting thought that a bowl of steaming pho is only a half-hour drive away.
